Gutters and Downspouts in Brookhaven

Water off the roof, away from the house. That is the whole job, and it matters more than people think.

Gutters Protect More Than the Roof

Gutters do one thing: catch the water coming off the roof and send it somewhere harmless. When they fail, that water runs down the walls, splashes against the foundation, washes out flower beds and backs up under the roof edge. Sagging sections, leaky seams, downspouts that dump right next to the house and gutters too small for the roof area are all common problems. Hail and falling limbs dent and bend them too, which is why gutters often show up on storm claims. We install seamless gutters formed in one piece right in the driveway, leaving no seams along the runs to drip. We size them to the roof, set the pitch so water actually flows to the downspouts, and place downspouts where they can carry water away from the foundation. Hangers go in at proper spacing so the gutters do not pull loose under a load of wet leaves. When we replace a roof, we look at the gutters at the same time. Sometimes they are fine. Sometimes it makes sense to replace them together while the edge is open and the crew is already there.

What Gutter Work Covers

New runs, replacements and repairs.

  • Seamless runs

Gutters formed on site to fit each roof edge without seams.

  • Correct sizing

Gutters and downspouts matched to how much roof drains into them.

  • Proper pitch

A slight, steady slope so water reaches the downspouts instead of pooling.

  • Downspout placement

Outlets set where water can run off well clear of the foundation and walkways.

  • Strong hangers

Hidden hangers at close spacing so the gutters stay put.

  • Storm damage check

Dents and bent sections photographed for claims when hail is involved.
